Red Coral - Material Info

Red Coral features vibrant red hues and a smooth, polished surface that highlight its natural beauty and elegance. Known for its rich color and striking appearance, this gemstone adds a bold, sophisticated touch to jewelry designs. Expertly incorporated into various pieces, red coral reflects its timeless allure and the distinctive craftsmanship of the designer.

Black Onyx - Material Info

Black Onyx in Native American Jewelry

Black Onyx is a sleek, jet-black gemstone often used in Native American jewelry for its striking contrast and bold elegance. Valued for its smooth finish and deep, opaque tone, it’s frequently paired with sterling silver to create a dramatic, timeless look.

Many Native American silversmiths—especially Navajo and Zuni artists—use Black Onyx in rings, pendants, and cuff bracelets, either as a central stone or in combination with turquoise, coral, or mother of pearl. Its clean, modern appeal complements both traditional and contemporary designs.

Symbolically, Black Onyx is believed to offer protection, strength, and grounding energy, making it a meaningful choice for both artisan and wearer.

Kingman Turquoise - Material Info

Black Arrow Jewelry & Art has offered Native American Made Kingman Turquoise Jewelry since 1996. The Kingman mine in northwestern Arizona is one of the largest turquoise mines in the southwest. Kingman blue has become a color standard in the industry, famous for its rounded bright blue nuggets with black matrix called Kingman Web Turquoise. Few turquoise mines produced nuggets, especially of this high grade. The Kingman mine re-opened in September 2004 after being closed since the 1970’s.

Mother of Pearl - Material Info

Mother of Pearl is the iridescent inner layer of mollusk shells, often sourced from oysters and abalones in regions such as the South Pacific and Asia. It is a renewable material harvested as a byproduct of pearl farming or sustainable shell collection. Its subtle shimmer and delicate hues lend a timeless elegance to jewelry pieces.

Bracelet Sizing Guide

How to Measure Your Wrist

Use a soft measuring tape (or a strip of paper and ruler) and wrap it snugly around your wrist, just above the wrist bone—where you would naturally wear your bracelet.

Record that measurement in inches, then use the chart below to find your best size.

Recommended Cuff Bracelet Sizes

Comfort Fit

7.0” – 7.5”

X-Large (7.5” Cuff)

Loose Fit / Stacking

Great for layering multiple bracelets

Rosales Cuffs: These often feature intricate inlay designs, which cannot be adjusted once made.

Yellowhorse Cuffs: Most have solid sterling construction with hand-soldered spheres, offering minimal flexibility but should still not be bent or stretched.

All other Native American made cuff bracelets with inlay cannot be adjusted and are typically one of a kind pieces that cannot be reordered exactly. Bracelets with a cabochon stone and silver cuff thin enough to bend may be adjusted with care.

Fit Preference

  • Loose Fit: Best for stacking multiple bracelets or for a relaxed, casual look.
  • Snug Fit: Best if wearing your cuff higher on your wrist or near your palm for a more secure feel.
Choose what feels most natural and comfortable to your style

How to Put On & Remove a Cuff Bracelet

To Put On:

  1. Hold the cuff opening at the soft spot just below your wrist bone (on the thumb side).
  2. Gently roll the cuff over that area—do not pull the ends apart.
  3. Twist slightly while pressing against the underside of your wrist until it slides into place.

To Remove:

  1. Reverse the process—roll the cuff off sideways over the same soft spot rather than prying the ends apart.
  2. Avoid flexing or spreading the metal, which can weaken solder joints or loosen inlay stones.

Important Note on Inlay Designs

Cuff bracelets with stone inlay designs cannot be adjusted.

Bending or reshaping these bracelets may cause the inlay stones to become loose or damaged.

Always select your size carefully and follow proper wear instructions to preserve the craftsmanship.
