Paul Moore (b. 1957) is a fifth generation Oklahoman and a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation he is also a member of the prestigious Cowboy Artists of America and a Fellow of the National Sculpture Society in New York, NY. His work on the Oklahoma Centennial Land Run Monument in Oklahoma City, one of the largest free-standing bronze sculptures in the world is a great testament of his skills and passion.

Cowboys and Indians captures a pivotal moment in the American frontier—a meditation on patience, vigilance, and the measured resolve of those who shaped the land. One figure surveys the horizon with practiced intent, rope in hand and ready for action, while his companion pauses in contemplation, cigarette in mouth, observing and waiting. The monochromatic patina evokes the timeless quality of an aged tintype photograph, preserving a fleeting instant of history in bronze.
