Black Arrow presents this striking Apache Blue turquoise cuff bracelet by renowned Navajo silversmith Leonard Nez. Known for his clean overlay work and balanced contemporary style, Nez pairs a bold, top-grade turquoise cabochon with his signature multi-split shank design. The bezel features neatly spaced, hand-cut details that frame the stone without overpowering it.

The turquoise itself is exceptional — bright, saturated blue with a dramatic, webbed matrix that gives the piece depth and character. This is the kind of bracelet collectors notice immediately: substantial, elegant, and wearable with anything.

  • Artist: Leonard Nez

  • Approx. Stone Size: 7/8" x 1 1/8"
  • Bracelet Size: Fits 6 1/4" Wrist

About the Artist: Leonard Nez

Born in Keams Canyon, Arizona in 1956, Leonard Nez quickly established himself as a prominent jeweler after his wife, Marian, a skilled Navajo silversmith, taught him the craft. His first pendant led to numerous commissions, allowing him to support himself through his jewelry making within a year.

Leonard Nez is renowned for his expertise in heavy-gauge silver and gold, with a signature style that features fine chisel and stamp work, deeply grooved sterling silver overlay, and a blend of traditional and contemporary designs, including detailed scrollwork and classic feather motifs.

Bracelet Sizing Guide

How to Measure Your Wrist

Use a soft measuring tape (or a strip of paper and ruler) and wrap it snugly around your wrist, just above the wrist bone—where you would naturally wear your bracelet.

Record that measurement in inches, then use the chart below to find your best size.

Loose Fit / Stacking

Great for layering multiple bracelets

Rosales Cuffs: These often feature intricate inlay designs, which cannot be adjusted once made.

Yellowhorse Cuffs: Most have solid sterling construction with hand-soldered spheres, offering minimal flexibility but should still not be bent or stretched.

All other Native American made cuff bracelets with inlay cannot be adjusted and are typically one of a kind pieces that cannot be reordered exactly. Bracelets with a cabochon stone and silver cuff thin enough to bend may be adjusted with care.

Fit Preference

  • Loose Fit: Best for stacking multiple bracelets or for a relaxed, casual look.
  • Snug Fit: Best if wearing your cuff higher on your wrist or near your palm for a more secure feel.
Choose what feels most natural and comfortable to your style

How to Put On & Remove a Cuff Bracelet

To Put On:

  1. Hold the cuff opening at the soft spot just below your wrist bone (on the thumb side).
  2. Gently roll the cuff over that area—do not pull the ends apart.
  3. Twist slightly while pressing against the underside of your wrist until it slides into place.

To Remove:

  1. Reverse the process—roll the cuff off sideways over the same soft spot rather than prying the ends apart.
  2. Avoid flexing or spreading the metal, which can weaken solder joints or loosen inlay stones.

Important Note on Inlay Designs

Cuff bracelets with stone inlay designs cannot be adjusted.

Bending or reshaping these bracelets may cause the inlay stones to become loose or damaged.

Always select your size carefully and follow proper wear instructions to preserve the craftsmanship.
