Born in Orange, Texas, and adopted by the Kruse family at three, Russ Kruse developed a passion for Native American culture through his uncle’s arrowhead collection. This interest led him to craft bows and arrows, and with his adoptive father's carpentry skills, he learned to carve animals from various woods. His unique creations have gained recognition, and he now sells his art to galleries and collectors across the U.S. and Europe, reflecting his deep connection to the craftsmanship and heritage he cherishes.
Russ has sold his art to galleries, trading posts, and Native American shops in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oregon, Utah, Colorado, and New York. In addition, he sells to collectors all over the United States, in Finland, and other European countries.
