BASIC CARE OF LEATHER ITEMS.  Clean off excess dirt with a brush or microfiber cloth. If the leather gets extremely dirty, clean with a small amount of water.  Apply a thin, small amount of olive oil with a cloth every two to three months. Apply lightly and wipe off excess.  Let it dry at room temperature. The oil will somewhat darken vegetable tanned leather.
