Dry Creek Sacred Buffalo Turquoise Pendant - SNNPD1895_DC108

This beautiful Sterling Silver Pendant features Dry Creek Turquoise also known as Sacred Buffalo Turquoise found on the Shoshone Indian Reservation near Battle Mountain, in 1993. This turquoise is no longer being mined and quite difficult to come by. It is often confused with White Buffalo which is a Howlite not a turquoise, unlike Sacred Buffalo which is a true Turquoise.  Created by Navajo jewelers and Navajo silversmiths.
